Pine Island Sounds to feature The 502s

In partnership with Captiva Cruises and Todd and Leanne Marcum, the Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation’s next Pine Island Sounds cruise will feature The 502s on Dec. 12 from 4 to 6 p.m.; it departs from McCarthy’s Marina, at 11401 Andy Rosse Lane, Captiva. Led by banjo-strumming songwriter Ed Isola, The 502s are a band of brothers whose sound has received acclaim as celebratory, wholesome and utterly life-affirming. They spread joy one rambunctious folk song at a time. Tickets are $100 and include an individual snack box and a complimentary cocktail of choice, thanks to contributions from Janie Howland and Jack Thomas. A cash bar will also be available. Net proceeds will benefit the SCCF’s water quality efforts including research, policy and educational outreach. For more information or tickets, visit https://pineislandsounds.eventbrite.com.
