The Sanibel School will open its doors to the public on Nov. 17 at 8 a.m. and provide updates about the school and a glimpse of its STEM — Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics — program.

The Sanibel School Fund reported that thanks to support from the community through the fund, the school is able to provide the cutting-edge education to students. STEM teacher Kelly Johnson and her students will lead the event, displaying some of their projects that the donations have made possible.

Principal Jamie Reid will share the latest updates on the school, and attendees will have the chance to be the first to sign up for the annual Blue Ribbon Classic Golf Tournament, planned for the spring.

Light refreshments will be available.

Attendance is limited; email TheSanibelSchoolFund@gmail.com to RSVP.
