The city of Sanibel hosted a Veterans Day coloring contest for youth participating in the after-school recreation program. Children in kindergarten through third grade participated. The first-place winners are first-grader Silvia Martinez and third-grader Dylan Teets, and the second-place winners are first-grader Rose Shaffer and third-grader Robert Burroughs. Prize ribbons were provided by the Sanibel Recreation Department. All entries will be on display in the lobby of the center, at 3880 Sanibel-Captiva Road, Sanibel.
