Captiva library, county system offer programs

The Captiva Memorial Library, at 11560 Chapin Lane, Captiva, is offering the following free programming:
CHILDREN PROGRAMS
– Nov. 24: Super Heroes and Graphic Novels
(daily during operating hours)
Browse the Super Heroes and Graphic Novels book display is in the Children’s Room. Check out books and have fun with the activity sheets provided. Make a paper envelope super hero puppet. Craft available while supplies last.
The library is open Tuesday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more information about a program or to register, call the library at 239-533-4890.
The library will be closed on Nov. 25-26 for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Calling all readers! A live virtual book discussion for adults. There is no assigned title. Instead, participants take turns sharing about the latest books that they have read. Advance registration required before today at 10 a.m.
