Refuge marks National Public Lands Day

REFUGE/DDWS
The J.N. “Ding” Darling National Wildlife Refuge on Sanibel reported that it was a sunshiny day and lots of visitors turned out on Sept. 25,for National Public Lands Day. They enjoyed free admission to Wildlife Drive and tours of the Wildlife on Wheels mobile interactive experience. Many collected litter in exchange for a free public lands one-day pass, and others picked up the refuge’s new Junior Ranger booklet to earn their badge.
