In partnership with Captiva Cruises and Todd and Leanne Marcum, the Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation’s Pine Island Sounds cruise will feature country music artist Elizabeth Cook aboard the Lady Chadwick on Nov. 7 from 4 to 6 p.m.; departing from McCarthy’s Marina, at 11401 Andy Rosse Lane, Captiva. A Nashville-based singer-songwriter from Wildwood, Cook is a SiriusXM Outlaw Country radio deejay and has hosted her own nationwide show, “Apron Strings,” for 10 years. She is a regular performer at the Grand Ole Opry and frequent guest on Adult Swim’s “Squidbillies” series on the Cartoon Network. Tickets are $100 and include an individually-boxed appetizer selection and one complimentary cocktail; additional drinks will be available for purchase from the bar. Net proceeds will benefit the SCCF and Sanibel Sea School’s water quality research and education efforts. The cruise on Dec. 12 will feature The 502s and the Feb. 13 one will feature Twisted Pine.
