Call to artists
The Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation and Sanibel-Captiva Art League are again teaming up for an outdoor exhibit at the Bailey Homestead Preserve. With the theme of “Natives in the Garden,” artists are encouraged to create unique works of art that represent the SCCF’s mission of protecting and caring for Southwest Florida’s coastal ecosystems. The selected weather-resistant art will be displayed throughout the native demonstration gardens from Nov. 1 through March 31. Artists must be a SCCF or SCAL member to take part. Initial entry drop-off is set for Oct. 25 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the homestead, at 1300 Periwinkle Way, Sanibel. There is no entry fee.
