Zonta San-Cap to kick off online auction as fundraiser
The Zonta Club of Sanibel-Captiva announced its fall fundraiser, “Zonta’s Peek at the Unique Auction.” The online auction will go live on Oct. 1 and run throughout the entire month.
Bid on places to stay, from Sanibel to Asheville, North Carolina; consider land and sea excursions; enjoy tours of island staples, like the Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife, Bailey-Matthews National Shell Museum and Sanibel Historical Museum and Village; and grab show tickets, dinners, private lessons, gifts and more.
In all, the auction will feature over 70 experiences and creations, with the item values ranging from a few dollars to thousands of dollars — all donated by local businesses, individuals and artists.
All proceeds will go out in grants to organizations whose mission mirrors Zonta’s own of championing and empowering women and girls. Earlier this year, $82,500 was distributed to such area non-profits.
