Youth basketball celebrates end of season with awards
CITY OF SANIBEL
The city of Sanibel’s Youth Fall Basketball League wrapped up its season on Sept. 24 at the Sanibel Recreation Center. Also, the Tiny Tots Division for ages 3-4 wrapped up its season on Sept. 25.
Participants ranging from kindergarten through eighth grade had a great season and learned the fundamentals of basketball while experiencing gameplay, the city reported.
The city extended a thank you to Captiva Cruises on Captiva for co-sponsoring league. Its sponsorship provided jerseys, pictures and awards to all of the participants.
Daily, weekly, semi-annual and annual memberships are available for the center.
