SCCF thanks Coastal Cleanup volunteers

The Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation extended its thanks to all who volunteered on Sept. 18 for the International Coastal Cleanup. With help from the ‘Tween Waters Island Resort and Spa in organizing on Captiva, the SCCF collected more than a couple of hundred pounds of trash on both islands. Many small plastic items collected will help save the lives of marine life.
