City begins nighttime crosswalk striping maintenance
The city of Sanibel reported that it began crosswalk striping maintenance work on Aug. 30 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. and that it will continue the work throughout the next two weeks, weather permitting.
The following areas are included in the project:
– Periwinkle Way
– Sanibel-Captiva Road
– Bailey Road
– Dixie Beach Boulevard
– Palm Ridge Road
– Dunlop Road
Every effort will be made to minimize any inconvenience to the public.
Access to residences and businesses will be maintained at all times.
The public is reminded to use caution when traveling through a construction zone.
