Sanibel Sea School to offer after-school programs

The Sanibel Sea School will offer a variety of after-school programs for the fall semester.
The programs will run from September through December. The sessions will be held on Tuesdays from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. and include topics such as surfing, seining and ocean art. Students will spend time immersed in marine science and fun activities.
“We believe it is important to provide meaningful activities after school, so that kids can get outside and explore nature,” Director Nicole Finnicum said. “Participants will learn a little marine science, have fun with friends, and enjoy time disconnected from technology.”
Students can register for one session or sign up for the entire series.
The sessions are $20 per participant; scholarships are available.
To ensure the safety of the students, staff and community, Sanibel Sea School staff will continue to wear masks indoors and ensure proper sanitation of all classroom spaces and gear.
