Sanibel Administration Department closed today, Tuesday
The city of Sanibel was advised today that a City Hall administration staff member has tested positive for COVID-19.
Effective immediately, the Administration Department, at 800 Dunlop Road, Sanibel, is closed and will be closed Aug. 31 while the area is disinfected. All other sections of City Hall continue to operate.
City staff is currently contact tracing all persons who were in that area of City Hall.

Officials reminded the public that the city requires face coverings in all city buildings, including the recreation center, and encourages vaccinations as well as the wearing of face coverings.
