Lee Health to host a virtual town hall regarding COVID-19
In an effort to increase awareness of COVID-19 and the highly-contagious Delta variant, Lee Health will host a virtual town hall meeting on Aug. 24 at 2 p.m. via Lee Health’s Facebook page.
Titled “COVID-19 Update: What You Need to Know,” the Facebook Live event will be interactive and give the community an opportunity to ask questions and have them answered by Lee Health medical experts. Attendees will be able to ask questions by commenting on the Facebook Live or sending direct messages through the Messenger option.
The panel for the virtual town hall will include:
– Lee Health President and Chief Executive Officer Larry Antonucci, M.D., MBA
– Interim Chief of Quality & Patient Safety and Pediatric Infectious Diseases Specialist Stephanie Stovall, M.D.
– Lee Health Creative Services Manager Lindsey Morton as the moderator

Lee Health is offering the COVID-19 vaccine to anyone 12 years old and older at its Community Vaccination Clinic at the Gulf Coast Medical Center. You can walk-in or schedule an appointment by visiting www.leehealth.org. A parent or authorized guardian must accompany a minor for vaccination.
