Junonia found on Captiva

Brian and Lana Julian and their children, Lucia, 13, and Lucas, 12, all of Dublin, Ohio, found a junonia on July 25 at about sunset on Captiva. Lana Julian reported that the shell rolled right into them while they were walking on the beach. The family comes to Captiva every year over the couple’s anniversary because they married on the island 17 years ago. She added that their children have been coming to Captiva every year since they were babies and have grown to love the island as much as they do.
