Doc Ford’s to sponsor multiple events
The “Ding” Darling Wildlife Society-Friends of the Refuge gave a shout-out to Doc Ford’s Rum Bar & Grille, which will sponsor four major events this coming season at a top level of support. In addition to title sponsoring for its 10th year the “Ding” Darling & Doc Ford’s Tarpon Tournament in May, it will sponsor “Ding” Darling Day in October, Go Wild for “Ding” — Year of the Anhinga, Soar for 40 More in February and Project Refuge: A Couture Fashion Show Using Trash in March. DDWS Executive Director Birgie Miller reported, “Doc Ford’s has shown incredible support of the refuge in the past decade. We can’t thank them enough for always being there whenever we need them and being a steady friend whose generosity always comes willingly and enthusiastically.”
