Community reminded that school started today
The Sanibel Police Department reported that The Sanibel School started classes today.
The SPD reminds all motorists to be cautious and remember to stop to allow the bus drivers to pick up and discharge the children in a safe manner. Vehicles in both directions must stop when the bus has its red lights on and the stop sign is lowered. Also, the speed limit in the school zone is 20 miles per hour.
“Please do your part to keep our children safe,” officials said.
