Chamber welcomes new member with ribbon cutting
On Aug. 17, the Sanibel & Captiva Islands Chamber of Commerce welcomed new member Beachwalker Marketing & Communications with a ribbon cutting at the Blue Giraffe 2 on Sanibel.
“I started out my business in March of 2020, weeks before the pandemic hit,” owner Maureen McGauran said. “However, I have been fortunate to work with local businesses in spite of the trials of the pandemic.”
She specializes in marketing, particularly in the areas of social media, covering businesses on Sanibel and Captiva. She also serves as a Sanibel Captiva Business Women’s Association board member.
“I joined the chamber because I want to be involved in supporting my community and what this area has to offer,” McGauran said.
“We welcome Maureen’s valuable services to our membership and look forward to working with her to our mutual benefit,” chamber President and Chief Executive Officer John Lai said.
