SAN CAP COMMUNITY BANK ADDS GOLDEN TO TEAM

Sanibel Captiva Community Bank Senior Vice President and Director of Business Development Lee Golden has joined the commercial lending team.

With 26 years of experience in community and regional banking, he joined the bank in 2015 to oversee its market expansion and the development, growth and management of its retail locations. In 2019, Golden was named director of business development and is responsible for the cultivation and retention of consumer and commercial clients, as well as leading community relations.

He will continue to manage the business development efforts, pursuing opportunities for long-term growth and revenue in Southwest Florida. Golden’s added responsibilities include originating commercial loans and developing new commercial relationships.

A Fort Myers native, he graduated from the University of Central Florida and the Consumer Bankers Association’s Graduate School of Retail Banking. Golden is a community advocate who has served in leadership roles on multiple boards, including the Greater Fort Myers Chamber of Commerce, Edison Ford Winter Estates and Family Health Centers of Southwest Florida.

CHR WELCOMES NEW BOARD MEMBER

Community Housing and Resources recently announced the addition of Sanibel resident Robert “Bob” Glick to its board of directors.

After receiving his MBA from the University of Michigan, Glick served in the U.S. Army, followed by a stint as a CPA at Arthur Andersen & Co. He then founded what later evolved into the Dots chain of women’s fashion stores, his passion for nearly 40 years.

Since retirement, Glick has served on non-profit boards, such as The Cleveland Foundation, The Cleveland Orchestra and Ahuja Medical Center of University Hospitals of Cleveland, as well as on for-profit boards. With his wife, he spends time working with and supporting non-profits with a focus on the health and well-being of the underserved in Cleveland, especially women and children.

McQuagge joined the bank in 2018 as the first in-house marketing director and is responsible for providing direction, guidance and leadership of marketing and community outreach efforts. She was previously the senior marketing and event manager for the Lee County Economic Development Office.

McQuagge holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from Florida Southern College, and she graduated from the ABA School of Marketing in May.

BANK REWARDS EMPLOYEES WITH BONUSES

For the fourth year, Sanibel Captiva Community Bank’s board of directors and executive management team rewarded employees with a bonus from the bank’s savings under the federal tax law.

The bonus was issued in recognition of the employees’ hard work and dedication. All employees, except for the executive management team, were eligible and included in the bonus.
