Supervisor of Elections advises voters on unofficial mailings

The Lee County Supervisor of Elections Office recently reported that it is not responsible for recent mailings with messages encouraging party affiliation changes or vote-by-mail participation.
Under Florida law, all voter registration information is public record, and many organizations use the to target registered voters, officials reported on June 23.
All official election-related mailings from the county office will have the official Lee County Supervisor of Elections logo and official election mail seal, authorized by the U.S. Postal Service. At this time, the notices originating from Lee Elections are the following:
– Address change notice
– Address confirmation final notice
