Kiwanis Club awards grant to Sanibel Sea School
The Sanibel Sea School recently received a grant from the Sanibel-Captiva Kiwanis Foundation to support summer camp scholarships. Each year, thousands of dollars in scholarships are granted to families in need to attend camp. Scholarships are offered in full or partial amounts and can be applied to any program. The Sanibel Sea School offers scholarships to local working families on Sanibel, as well as to landlocked families in Fort Myers. Educators also offer multiple after-school programs for free to childcare centers in Fort Myers, where many of the students come from low income families.
