Co-Ed Softball League
UPDATE: The Sanibel Recreation Department reported that today’s games are canceled due to the weather. With so many rainouts, the league will go straight into the season-ending tournament on July 14 using the current standings.
The summer Co-Ed Softball League has the following games scheduled for today, July 7, at the Sanibel Ball Fields at the Sanibel Recreation Center, at 3880 Sanibel-Captiva Road, Sanibel:
– Sanibel Carts vs. Whitney’s at 6:30 p.m.
– Doc Ford’s Sea Dogs vs. Sanibel Carts at 7:35 p.m.
– Whitney’s vs. Doc Ford’s Sea Dogs at 8:40 p.m.
The three games scheduled for June 30 were rained out.
The league standings remain as follows:
– Doc Ford’s Sea Dogs (6-2)
– Whitney’s (5-3)
– Sanibel Carts (1-7)
The season-ending tournament is tentatively set for July 14.
