City reports on Sanibel power outage
At about noon today, the city of Sanibel reported that 3,277 properties are currently out of electrical power. It is 36.53 percent of Sanibel. LCEC is aware of the outage. The cause appears to be power lines down on Sanibel-Captiva Road. One LCEC crew is on site. Additional crews were in route. At the time of the city’s announcement, there was no estimated time for when the repairs would be completed.
