Alphabet cone found on Sanibel
Nicholas Andres Pilligua, 6, of Germantown, Maryland, found an alphabet cone on June 23 during low tide in front of the West Wind Island Resort on Sanibel. His mother, Christina Pilligua, reported that it was their first time visiting the islands. She added that Nicholas did not want to leave the ocean and pools, and in the evenings he would line up the shells that he found and look through shell books to see what he could match and identify.
