Tarpon Bay ramp reopens

Tarpon Bay Explorers is fully open while parking lot construction continues.
The “Ding” Darling Wildlife Society-Friends of the Refuge reported that the Tarpon Bay Explorers boat ramp at the J.N. “Ding” Darling National Wildlife Refuge’s Tarpon Bay Recreation Area is back open after a short closure. The ramp is available to motorized and non-motorized vessel launching. While parking lot construction continues at the recreation area, Tarpon Bay Explorers remains fully open for business.
