Recreation center registering for youth summer camp
The Sanibel Recreation Department’s Summer Day Camp will be held from June 21 through July 30 — no camp on July 5 — from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday to Friday at the Sanibel Recreation Center.
The program is available to children entering kindergarten through eighth grade. Refer to the registration packet for specific kindergarten registration requirements.
Campers will participate in activities such as swimming, arts and crafts, athletics, and a variety of games. Special guests, along with an enhanced field trip itinerary, will be a part of the action.
Breakfast and lunch will be provided daily.
Campers should bring water, swimsuit, towel and sunscreen each day.
Masks will be necessary when social distancing is not available.
With early bird registration, the cost per week is $135 for members and $174 for non-members. The cost per week is $162 for members and $209 for non-members for on-time registration. With late registration, the cost per week is $168.75 for members and $217.50 for non-members.
Financial assistance is available to qualifying families.
The registration deadlines are as follows:
– Week 1 (June 21-25): Early bird, by June 7; on-time, by June 14; and late, on or after June 15
– Week 2 (June 28 to July 2): Early bird, by June 14; on-time, by June 21; and late, on or after June 22
– Week 3 (July 6-9): Early bird, by June 21; on-time, by June 28; and late, on or after June 29
– Week 4 (July 12-16): Early bird, June 28; on-time, July 6; and late, on or after July 7
– Week 5 (July 19-23): Early bird, July 6; on-time, July 12; and late, on or after July 13
– Week 6 (July 26-30): Early bird, July 12; on-time, July 19; and late, on or after July 20
