Noah’s Ark Thrift Shop, with St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church, reported that it will offer the following events — including its annual Bag Day — before closing for August and September:

– CHRISTMAS IN JULY

On July 6, 9, 13 and 16, there will be Christmas decorations and decor in inside and outside pop-ups.

– SALES LEADING UP TO BAG DAY

Big sales will be available during the last two weeks of July. On July 20, everything will be 50 percent off; on July 23, everything will be 60 percent off; and on July 27, everything will be 70 percent off.

– BAG DAY

Bag Day will take place on July 30 from 9:30 to 11 a.m. Bags will be sold for $5 beginning at 8:30 a.m. Everything you can fit in the bag is yours; larger items will be 80 percent off. Cash only on this day.

The hours in July are Tuesdays and Fridays from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Due to construction, there may be times the Periwinkle Way entrance is closed; if so, enter the parking lot via Dunlop Road.

Admission numbers are given out starting at 8:30 a.m. to limit capacity to 40 people at a time.

Noah’s Ark Thrift Shop’s mission is to sell donated items to fund grants that alleviate suffering, while nurturing compassion and friendship between volunteers and customers. Proceeds are donated to charities identified through grant applications submitted to a committee. Grants are made to benefit local, national and worldwide needs. Over the past 60 years, over $7 million has gone toward charities.
