Students take fern finder field trip

Students in Alexis Camputaro’s third-grade class at The Sanibel School recently joined Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation Environmental Educator Richard Finkel to identify and learn about ferns in SCCF’s Pick Preserve. Students learned what makes the primitive plants different from other plants, while making observations and sketching the ferns they found along the nature trail.
