Sanibel school names monthly winner

The Sanibel School’s Do The Right Thing award winner for March is eighth-grader Carter Koehler. A second-time winner of the award, he was recognized this time for being brave and addressing classmates who were displaying disrespect. Officials reported that Carter educated his classmates on the meaning behind their behavior and how to do the right thing in the future. He behaved in a way that was not offensive to his peers but rather meaningful. Carter is a true role model.
