PTA kicks off fundraiser to benefit Sanibel school
The Sanibel School PTA has announced the kickoff of its first annual Seahorse Challenge.
For 2021, the new move-a-thon event will replace the Seahorse Festival, the PTA’s largest annual fundraiser. Running from April 12-26, the challenge will entail island students asking for pledges from friends and family as they complete a variety of physical, artistic and community service activities.
“In these times, every dollar will go to help our school and students thrive,” PTA President Chris Demaras said.
The island community can join the fun by supporting a student or contributing a donation.
