Gonzalez biography is finalist for award
Sanibel-based New Spring Press recently announced that “The Maverick M.D.: Dr. Nicholas Gonzalez’s Fight for a New Cancer Treatment,” written by author Mary Swander, is a finalist in the biography category for the Book Excellence Awards. The 408-page biography captures the wisdom and success of Gonzalez, who perfected the scientific theory behind Dr. William Donald Kelley’s work and put the nutritional enzyme protocol into practice. The Book Excellence Awards is an international competition dedicated to recognizing independent and traditionally published authors and publishers for excellence in writing, design and overall market appeal. New Spring Press is managed by Mary Beth Gonzalez, Gonzalez’s widow.
