CROW to host annual ‘Southern Comfort’ virtually

The Clinic for the Rehabilitation of Wildlife will host a virtual “Southern Comfort on Sanibel” on April 23 at 7 p.m. This year’s event will be held from the comfort of participants’ homes.
Ticket holders will be provided with a picnic basket of tasty treats, including a delectable dinner and specially selected wine, along with other surprises. Hosted by Executive Director Alison Charney Hussey and auctioneer Chris Marchand, the virtual event will feature Animal Ambassadors and never before seen footage of the Southwest Florida Eagle cam eagles while they were under CROW’s care. Activities will include a live and silent auction and balloon pop.
The fun evening will enable CROW to continue to serve sick, injured native and migratory wildlife of Southwest Florida.
Discounted tickets are available for $125 per person through April 9, after which the price increases to $150. Participants will be able to pick up their picnic baskets at The Community House on Sanibel or a designated location in Fort Myers from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.
The event will be presented by The Sanibel Captiva Trust Company.
