The Sanibel-Captiva Art League wrapped up its painted bags fundraiser for the year.
The initiative is held annually in cooperation with Bailey’s General Store and F.I.S.H. of Sanibel-Captiva. Each year, Bailey’s owner Richard Johnson and his staff organize with the SCAL and F.I.S.H to begin the process by supplying reusable canvas bags for members of the art league to paint on.
The masterpieces are displayed at the store for one month, with bids for the bags taken at Bailey’s. Each year, the artwork amazes savvy art collectors and the winners walk away with one-of-a kind bags.
One hundred percent of the proceeds go to F.I.S.H and help to support the community.
The SCAL thanked all who helped to make this year’s fundraiser a success.
