“Eye of the Albatross: Visions of Hope and Survival”
The Green Readers, the Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation’s nature-inspired book club, announced that March’s book selection is “Eye of the Albatross: Visions of Hope and Survival” by Carl Safina. Selected by SCCF’s Coastal Wildlife department and a winner of the John Burroughs Medal for Outstanding Natural History Writing, it follows the journeys of Laysan albatross Amelia as she travels thousands of miles from the sub-Arctic to the tropics.
