SCAL, SCCF call to artists
“Natives In The Garden” is the theme of a new show that will open in mid-January at the Bailey Homestead Preserve, at 1300 Periwinkle Way, Sanibel. Weather-resistant art will be displayed outdoors, and the artwork should be representative of the Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation’s mission of conserving coastal habitats, including native wildlife and flora, and aquatic resources on the islands and in the surrounding watershed. Membership in the Sanibel Captiva Art League or SCCF is required of participating artists; membership forms are available at https://new.sancapart.org or http://sccf.org. All work must be for sale and a 20 percent donation will apply to pieces sold.
