Sanibel Captiva Pool League
The Sanibel Captiva Pool League kicked off its 2020-21 season on Oct. 5. One highlight was Mark Wagner Jr. had the first 4-0 of the season, winning all four of his matches against Tom Yorgey.
Highlights from the second game of the season on Oct. 12 included Richard McCurry making his debut, taking three wins against Matty Hall; Ken Rassi taking three wins from Kayla McCurry and her team; Sarah Hird making her debut but Butch Bouchard and his in-training service dog, Mia, taking all four games; and Kim Radloff making a return but Doc Lubinski taking four wins.
The current standings are as follows:
– Sanibel Café: 25 games
– Bunts Ball Busters: 21 games
– Fresh Legion Crew: 19 games
– Tips ‘n’ Styx: 15 games
The league plays on Mondays at 5 p.m. at the American Legion Post 123 on Sanibel.
