A walking tour of the Bailey Homestead Preserve from 10 to 11 a.m. that blends the Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation’s work on the historic property, history of the land and stories about the Bailey family, which farmed it for three generations. Program includes a look at the demonstration gardens at the Native Landscapes & Garden Center, windmill, pavilion, Devitt Pond overlook and entrance to the Bailey family home. Suggested donation of $5; walking shoes recommended. Meet at the Conservation Gateway Kiosk at the head of Shipley Trail, at 1300 Periwinkle Way, Sanibel. Ethics in Film Series

He will talk about the revival of the holly, its use as a tea, and the burgeoning tea industry in Florida.
