F.I.S.H. of Sanibel-Captiva will offer “Don’t Forget Our Children – Mental Health Series Part III” from 10 a.m. to noon at The Community House, at 2173 Periwinkle Way, Sanibel. Ethics in Film Series

BIG ARTS will screen the film “Pavarotti” (2019) at 12:30 p.m. at the Island Cinema, at 535 Tarpon Bay Road, Sanibel. Making the Land Work

A walking tour of the Bailey Homestead Preserve from 10 to 11 a.m. that blends the Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation’s work on the historic property, history of the land and stories about the Bailey family, which farmed it for three generations. Program includes a look at the demonstration gardens at the Native Landscapes & Garden Center, windmill, pavilion, Devitt Pond overlook and entrance to the Bailey family home. Evenings at the Homestead

The Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation will host “Evenings at the Homestead:

Sea Turtle Research Collaboration” from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the pavilion at the Bailey Homestead Preserve, at 1300 Periwinkle Way, Sanibel. Nature Connection Through Movement

F.I.S.H. of Sanibel-Captiva and the Rauschenberg Foundation will host “Fighting Food Waste – Cooking for the Planet Part I,” from 10 a.m. to noon at the Sanibel Congregational United Church of Christ, at 2050 Periwinkle Way, Sanibel. Participants will learn techniques that to reduce waste and save money by stretching ingredients, will make meat and veggie stocks, fruit scrap vinegar and salt preserved citrus, and will leave with recipes and a jar of everything prepared. The Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation and Captiva Cruises will host a Sunset Concert Series, featuring Uproot Hootenanny from 4 to 6 p.m. aboard the Lady Chadwick. Enjoy an intimate on-the-water performance by the four-piece band, which performs bluegrass classics to Irish-folksy vibes. Yaupon Tea Revival, Tastings

The Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation will host Bryon White from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Bailey Homestead Preserve, at 1300 Periwinkle Way, Sanibel, for a presentation on Yaupon Holly. He will talk about the revival of the holly, its use as a tea, and the burgeoning tea industry in Florida.
