Get your tennis game on to support SCCF
Raise a racquet to support water quality and the preservation and protection of the local coastal ecosystem at the 28th Annual SCCF Tennis Tournament on Dec. 7-8 at the Beachview Tennis Club.
Register to play, become an event sponsor, or come out and enjoy the fun and refreshments.
Men’s and women’s doubles teams that play at the 3.0, 3.5 and 4.0 levels are welcome to enter. An entry fee of $75 per person includes a T-shirt and breakfast and lunch on both days.
Winners and runners-up will receive a wine glass etched by event founder Luc Century.
Tournament Chair Lisa Newmeyer-Cochrane reported that spectators are invited to come out and enjoy the fun community gathering and exciting competition, while supporting the SCCF.
Food and refreshments will be provided by Bailey’s General Store, Doc Ford’s Rum Bar & Grille, Lazy Flamingo, Malia Island Fusion Cuisine, Sanibel Deli and Traders. Spectators can enjoy refreshments from 9 a.m. to dusk on Dec. 7 and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Dec. 8.
Player registration is open until Dec. 4.
