F.I.S.H. provides financial assistance for island youth

F.I.S.H. of Sanibel-Captiva is for everyone, including the islands’ youth neighbors.
The organization is committed to helping by providing scholarships, assistance with medical and dental expenses, education assistance, nutrition and more.
Financial assistance is available for the following programs:
– Advanced Programming: Scholarships for programming in education, sports and/or the arts
– After School Care: Financial assistance for after school programming on- and off-island
– Backpack Program: Packages of nutritious food for the weekend and extra snacks for weekdays
– Field Trip Scholarships: Financial assistance for in-school field trips
– Financial Assistance: A hand up for medical, dental, education and more
– School Supplies: Back-to-school supplies and gift cards provided
– Summer Camp Scholarships: Financial assistance provided for on- and off-island camps
Assistance is evaluated on a case-by-case basis and amounts vary depending upon the family’s financial status. Available funding is limited, and scholarships may cover only a portion of the program cost.
