Prescribed burn of Sanibel Gardens Preserve complete

The city of Sanibel reported today that the burn operations at the Sanibel Gardens Preserve were complete as of 4:48 p.m. and the city has been given the all clear.
The site of the burn will continue to be monitored overnight and for the next several days. Occasional smoke may be seen from the burned area for several days.
