The F.I.S.H. of Sanibel-Captiva Friendly Faces luncheon is an opportunity to meet new friends and reconnect with old ones. Held monthly on the second Tuesday throughout the year, George & Wendy’s Seafood Grille and F.I.S.H. host the event, which is open to the community. The $8 price fixed lunch includes an entre, side, non-alcoholic drink and dessert; cash is the preferred method of payment. Attending the luncheon is an opportunity to celebrate a special day and get to know your neighbors, F.I.S.H. staff, volunteers and community leaders. Attendees also have an opportunity to learn about F.I.S.H. programs and services and participate in activities, and guest speakers occasionally join the event. F.I.S.H. sponsors the luncheon by paying a portion of everyone’s meal cost. Should the $8 cost be an issue, contact F.I.S.H. Program Director Kathy Y. Monroe as it may subsidize a larger part or the entire cost of the meal. For more information, call Monroe or Anthony Morales at 239-472-4775.
