Shell ring found
Grace Horn, 100, of Sanibel, recently reported that a missing ring of hers was found. Many years ago, she had a custom gold-and-diamond ring made that she enjoyed wearing every day. One day about five years ago, Horn realized it was not on her finger. She looked and looked for it and thought she had made a big mistake and sent it to Goodwill in a bag of clothes. Recently, she had two women – Teofila Zayas and Reyna Canales – in her home deep cleaning it. At one point, the women ran to Horn with a big discovery. They had found her missing ring in the silverware drawer under the sticky contact paper. Horn said she has no idea how it got there, but she is so thankful to the kind women for finding it. She added that they made an old lady very happy.
