St. Isabel’s Bread & Roses holds retreat
On April 4, the Society of Bread & Roses sponsored the first Women’s Day Retreat led by Dr. Carol Razza at the St. Isabel Parish, which was open to all women of the parish.
Razza, a spiritual speaker, author, psychotherapist and faculty member at St. Vincent de Paul Seminary in Boynton Beach, is known for her gift of inspiring others to live joyously in spiritual abundance.
The day began with Mass at 8 a.m. Afterward, a light breakfast was offered in the parish hall.
The first half of the retreat, Razza reminded the women that they are all special and blessed with gifts by the Holy Spirit. She presented a day of healing and reflection regarding the women’s special roles in the church and the community.
Bailey’s catered the luncheon for the 45 women attending.
The second half of the retreat was equally inspirational and moving as Razza led the women in prayer and guided each to pray over one another. She shared testimonials from others who were healed through their faith and helped the group to grow stronger in their faith.
