The LOGOS Children’s Ministry at Sanibel Community Church enjoyed a night of Nerf overload on March 13.

After the typical rotation of music, art, Bible lesson and a family-style dinner, the children were thrilled and engaged in numerous Nerf activities, such as Nerf soccer, lacrosse, basketball, archery and darts.

The teams were a mixture all ages from kindergarten through fifth grade. Each team competed nobly for the title of Nerf Master. Everyone gave it their best shot to show off their kicking, aiming and throwing skills in order to be known as the “Nerfiest.”

The kids ended Nerf night with a Nerfy spongey dessert of a good old-fashioned Twinkie.

Open to pre-kindergarteners to fifth-graders, LOGOS meets on Wednesdays from 3:30 to 6:45 p.m. at the church, at 1740 Periwinkle Way, Sanibel.
