Sanibel Community Church’s LOGOS Children’s Ministry recently had a fun-filled night as they celebrated Team Sports Night. Each child chose to wear the favorite sports team T-shirt or jersey. They also had the option to wear their school or club sports uniform to show great team spirit toward the local team they represent. The children chowed down on hot pretzels and hot dogs and had a choice to top their dirty water dog with either chili, macaroni and cheese, or America’s favorite – ketchup or mustard. After dinner, they prepared for the annual Stomp Competition. Each child was eager to earn the title 2019 Stomp Champion for biggest and loudest stomp. Open to children age 3 to students in fifth-grade, LOGOS typically meets on Wednesdays from 3:30 to 6:45 p.m. at the church, at 1740 Periwinkle Way, Sanibel. Currently, the group is on summer break and will resume in the fall. For more information, contact Holly Patton-Roark at 239-472-2684 ext. 122 or holly@Sanibelchurch.com.
