Doc Ford’s Rum Bar & Grill has been a loyal sponsor of SanCap Cares and the Golisano Children’s Hospital of Southwest Florida since the very beginning. In the “Name That Drink” promotion, ten drinks that island donors have created over the years have raised more than $300,000. This year, Doc Ford’s will support the event again as a platinum level sponsor of the Annual Island Celebration.

“The incredible generosity of the Doc Ford’s team has had an indelible impact on Golisano Children’s Hospital and the children of Southwest Florida. We are so thankful that they are a part of our island community and SanCap Cares,” Amanda Cross, one of the founding members of SanCap Cares, said. “Brenda and Marty Harrity and Mark Marinello have been a part of our mission and passion since the very beginning in 2001. There are not words to express our respect, admiration and gratitude to them.”

The 19th Annual Island Celebration will be held on April 7 at The Sanctuary Golf Club. This year, the event promises to be an elegant evening saluting the island donors themselves. Culinary tastings and wine pairings will accompany the “Give to Give” auction of items. There will also be a five-star dinner and entertainment by The Modern Gentlemen. Corporate sponsorships are still available.
