The Sanibel-Captiva Conservation Foundation announced that The Sanibel Captiva Trust Company is returning as a sponsor for the Eighth Annual Beer in the Bushes on April 20. For the first time this year, the company will be the presenting sponsor of the Food Truck Alley. Under the culinary direction of Catering by Leslie Adams, it will feature: Taco Tummy, Gator John’s BBQ, Wicked Streatery, Rollin’ Raw Bar, The Sizzle Truck and Cajun Gringos. Beer in the Bushes will be held from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Nature Center, at 3333 Sanibel-Captiva Road. A limited number of early bird tickets for $60 went on sale on March 1. Tickets are available at www.beerinthebushes.com. Advance tickets are $70. If the event does not sell out, $80 same day tickets may be available. All tickets include $10 in Trux Bux redeemable for dinner choices from the trucks. Beer in the Bushes is a smoke-free rain-or-shine event. Event proceeds support SCCF’s mission of conserving coastal habitats and aquatic resources on Sanibel and Captiva and in the surrounding watershed.
