Education at the refuge

J.N. “Ding” Darling National Wildlife Refuge Conservation Educator Sara Hallas teaches second-graders from The Sanibel School about alligators and crocodiles at a monthly class at the Wildlife Education Boardwalk. The refuge hosts more than 8,000 students throughout the school year, many from Title I underserved schools.
