Tickets are on sale for a chamber music concert scheduled at the Captiva Civic Center.

The Captiva Civic Association will present the Astralis Chamber Ensemble performing “At Dusk” on March 25 from 7 to 8 p.m. There will be a pre-concert reception at 6:30 p.m. with wine provided.

“(It) is an innovative and dynamic ensemble performing with much acclaim across the globe,” Executive Director Paul Garvey said.

The trio includes flutist Angela Massey, cellist Troy Chang and harpist Katherine Siochi.

“This ‘At Dusk’ concert features works by Arthur Foote, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Frdric Chopin, Gabriel Faur, Claude Debussy, Camille Saint-Sans and Maurice Ravel,” he said.

Garvey noted that it will be an hour-long performance with no intermission.

Through creative programming and presentations on the works performed, the ensemble aims to make classical music more accessible and for audiences to make a lasting connection to the music. The musicians have performed together for years and some for over two decades on major concert series and at notable venues. Another focus of the ensemble is to support the development of art through new compositions and bring recognition to the composers that exist today.

As of March 13, approximately 70 tickets were available.

“It’s wide open at the moment,” he said.

The tickets are $15 for CCA members and $25 for non-members.

While non-refundable, the tickets are transferable.
