Tower Art Gallery donates to wheelchair project

Tower Art Gallery artists recently hosted the annual “Giving Back” fund-raising event. The January celebration raised money for the Sanibel-Captiva Rotary Club’s wheelchair project. Rotarians Bill Rahe, John Grey, and Eldon Bohrofen were among those in attendance. The Rotary Club donates wheelchairs to those in need all over the world. This year, money is going toward sending wheelchairs to the poor in Guatemala. Rotarians will travel to there to help distribute a shipping container of over 100 wheelchairs. It will be the third shipment since 2015.
